Gita Mandir: This temple is unique because unlike other temples it is not in honor of any deity but it is dedicated to the holy book Gita. The temple features inscriptions of the holy book in the entire surroundings of the temple. The temple also houses idols of Lord Krishna along with Lakshmi Narayana, Lord Ram and Sita.

Govardhan Hill:  the Govardhan Hill is considered to be sacred due to the Vaishnavas. According to Mythology it was at these Ghats that  Lord Krishna challenged Penance for Indra and Indra in rage had flooded the entire village.

Jama Masjid: Jama Masjid is ancient Mosque created during the time of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The mosque has quite an impressive structure with four minarets and intricate carving.

Mathura Station Is The Best Entry Way To The City

Due to its religious importance, Mathura witnesses a huge influx of tourists throughout the year, as a result the Mathura Station remains quite busy. Since the easiest and the best way to get to this city is via railways, Mathura railway station is of at most importance. Unlike other cities, the station is not in some secluded corner of the city. But the Mathura Station is located quite close to the city centre, thus travelling to and from the station is quite easy.
